Discover the rich history and vibrant culture of Tampines through the eyes of our passionate student guides. This engaging tour brings you through iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and stories of the past that have shaped this unique community. Experience history brought to life by the next generation!

Come down to the Indian Heritage Centre for a free guided tour of our permanent galleries. Take a walk in the shoes of Indian pioneers to hear the rich history, culture and heritage of the Indian community in Singapore with our museum guide.

You’ll also discover star artefacts that include the spectacular late 19^th-century Chettinad Doorway and the mesmerising tiled Multan façade, and many more. 

Balestier Multicultural and Architecture Photography Trail

Discover what makes the Balestier precinct unique in this brand new multicultural and architecture photography trail! From Malay road names to Burmese influences, and diverse architectural styles and elements found in Balestier, whip out your cameras or mobile phones and capture it all in this walking photography trail. This trail is open to all and for photography enthusiasts of different levels. Members from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Photography Club will share tips and tricks on photography during the trail.

Join us for a guided tour of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall and hear the stories behind this century-old villa that trace Dr Sun Yat Sen’s revolutionary activities in Southeast Asia. Gain valuable insights on the impact of the 1911 Revolution on Singapore, as well as Singapore’s contributions to the Revolution. Tours are brought to you by our Heritage Volunteers.
